Orgatec is the leading international design fair for modern office furniture. The biennial trade fair in Cologne is considered to be the leading event for architects, designers and manufacturers of office furniture. This year’s theme is “Culture@work” and wants to make people ponder what the offices of the future will look like and how companies will be able to be agile in the face of continuous evolution. The fair covers six main themes: “planning change”, “working in wellness areas”, “peace and quiet in the office”, “the workplace moves”, “future and sustainability” and “the workplace becomes smarter”.
Frezza took up the challenge by introducing several collections to support these themes, such as the evolution of the alplus System designed by architect Marco Zito, thought for flexible workplaces where leisure and work merge more and more. The collection includes benches, armchairs, sofas, but also new systems for casual meetings such as the Meeting pod, as well as meeting and coworking tables. The expansion of the Spike collection, designed by Giorgio Topan, embraces the theme of the smart office focusing on the well-being of its user. Spike is an executive collection that stands out for the inclusion of a sit-stand system on the side of the desk extension: an elevating system that allows you to change the height of your workstation in just a few seconds. High quality materials and finishes give the collection a striking aesthetic impact. To make it easier to design modern workspaces with style and personality, the new be.1 office system (design by Progetto CMR) includes a variety of configurations that meet the needs of sharing, collaboration or concentration while ensuring privacy and comfort. Functions also supported by the circle (G. Topan), circular or elliptical, multifunctional table designed to meet the needs of collaboration, flexibility and smart working.
Performance and acoustics in openspace environments were also taken into consideration by Frezza with the k82 partition wall and My Room, a quite room ideal for privacy situations.
