Alplus Meeting Pod
The Alplus Meeting Pod is a true example of micro-architecture - functional, comfortable and thoughtfully designed to meet the evolving needs of contemporary workspaces. Created by architect Marco Zito, this solution is tailored for open-space and smart office environments, with a strong emphasis on user wellbeing and on the importance of private, quiet spaces for informal meetings or moments of relaxation.
In today’s fluid work environments, where focus and communication must coexist, the Alplus Meeting Pod strikes the perfect balance between privacy and collaboration. While offering acoustic and visual isolation from the surrounding space, its open design fosters direct interaction among users, encouraging dialogue and idea exchange. Designed for small groups, the pod features two sofas (available in 140 cm or 160 cm lengths) and a set of side partition panels that create an intimate, quiet setting.
Highly versatile, the Alplus Meeting Pod can be enhanced with a totem monitor stand, which includes integrated power and data outlets. A trapezoidal melamine table can be mounted to the totem, or alternatively, a height-adjustable freestanding table available with either a trapezoidal or square top can be selected to suit different operational needs.
Alplus Lounge sofa
The circular configuration of the modular Alplus Lounge sofa, designed by Marco Zito, offers a sophisticated reinterpretation of collaborative spaces within open-plan environments. This versatile and elegant solution creates an acoustically protected environment, with a wrap around layout that fosters dialogue and interaction while minimising external distractions.
The structure consists of upholstered seating modules and 60° curved partition panels, all fabric-upholstered and connected via discreet zippers to ensure seamless alignment. This design enables the creation of intimate yet accessible environments, ideal for informal conversations, quick meetings, confidential calls or simple moments of relaxation.
The individual components sofas, partition panels, integrated tables and cylindrical cushions can be freely configured to adapt to a wide range of design needs. Each module is customisable with plain or two-tone upholstery and can be equipped with USB ports or functional tabletops, offering both aesthetic flexibility and practical utility.
The result is a welcoming, elegant and technologically advanced environment that delivers comfort while making a strong visual statement. This configuration of the Alplus Lounge redefines the concept of the pod office, introducing a new standard of quality in shared spaces - perfectly aligned with the evolving nature of today’s work culture.
