Frezza’s multifunctional and dynamic design solutions meet the new needs of the contemporary workspace

Hybrid, dynamic and reconfigurable environments

Creating a space where people can share and socialise, a dynamic coworking space capable of accommodating and adapting to ever-changing ways of working: from training sessions to formal presentations, from brainstorming activities to company meetings.

This was the goal behind the project for the training areas inside Frezza’s new corporate showroom: two hybrid places that become a concrete example of the contemporary workplace and narrate the philosophy of a dynamic, technological and versatile space, able to change form and function rapidly.

A new way of working

The project follows the flexible office principles, a concept that aims to promote engagement and well-being through flexibility, modularity and reconfigurability.

Thanks to the “activity-based working” method, spaces dedicated to training are no longer seen as they were in the past, i.e. with a mono-functional purpose, but rather as an area that can transform itself according to specific needs.

Collaboration or training moments are tailored to different needs through different sized environments – more contained ones for small work groups or designed to accommodate a large number of people – and to the spaces, which lose their classic static conformation and are transformed into informal environments for group work sessions, presentations or brainstorming.

“The project’s challenge,” explains Cristian Faggiani, Frezza’s General Manager,”‘was to combine different work requirements in a single environment, while also maintaining a high level of comfort and functionality when switching from one configuration to another.

Trends in workspace design are increasingly focused on hybrid and multifunctional spaces. New work dynamics and evolving technologies are changing the way environments are set up and organised. Training rooms are becoming increasingly flexible and adaptable to users’ needs.

Instead of having spaces solely dedicated to learning, companies are investing in multifunctional spaces that can be used for different activities, such as formal meetings, group work sessions, training, presentations and brainstorming activities”.

Each element – poufs, tables, seating solutions, mobile whiteboards, lighting – contributes to designing a dynamic and functional interior that disrupts standards and creates ever-changing working landscapes that accommodate multiple functions and activities.

Frezza’s multifunctional furnishings turn into pieces of a language that is both fluid and hybrid, becoming a key element not only for collaborating and sharing ideas, but also for quickly redesigning spaces.

These include extremely dynamic and easily reconfigurable furnishing solutions such as the Gradone grandstands, electrified for quick and easy connection, and the Agile and Mediawalk mobile whiteboards.

The furnishings are completed by the Radar and Flamingo coffee tables, together with the Radar and C1.8 poufs (with and without writing tablet) in different sizes, which create extremely functional and at the same time comfortable islands.

Colour Design

The colour identity of the training spaces is based on the principles of colour design, with the aim of creating an environment that promotes comfort and well-being as well as communication and socialisation.

The choice of colours was based on the principles of colour therapy, focusing on a palette of neutrals and vividly coloured accents that promote emotional well-being.

Elegant tones of grey, black and beige convey cosiness, while touches of blue, green and yellow add energy and brightness to the environment, as well as encouraging concentration.

Frezza therefore demonstrates that spaces dedicated to training can be much more than simple rooms: they are living environments, capable of changing form and function, adapting to the needs of the people who live in them every day.

A design approach that fully meets the challenges of the contemporary workspace, where versatility becomes the key to continuous learning and innovation.
