Areca

Designed by ITO Design, the Areca collection of mesh and upholstered office task chairs takes its name from the natural world, drawing inspiration from organic shapes and flowing lines. These influences are reflected in the design of the backrest, which evokes a sequence of overlapping layers.

Available with either a mesh backrest (Areca Mesh) or an upholstered backrest (Areca Fabric), this chair combines contemporary aesthetics with a design conceived for long-term durability. A distinctive feature of the collection is the ability to easily replace the main seat and backrest components, preserving the chair’s structure and extending its life. This allows the chair to be renewed and adapted to changing needs, embodying a practical approach to eco-design that is further enhanced by the use of more than 30% recycled plastic.
