An innovative backrest, which incorporates an advanced AMS (Active Motion System) movement system, ensures maximum comfort during the working day. This system works on two axes and allows the involuntary muscles of the back to continue working even when sitting down, providing great benefits throughout the day. Thanks to the AMS, the backrest can rotate 6° to the right and left and 4° in depth.

The backrest also features height- and depth-adjustable lumbar support to suit different users. An upholstered cushion in the same colour as the seat is applied to the lumbar support for greater comfort.

Denzel is available with 4 different devices, two of which have a self-calibrating weight adjustment, which is an excellent solution for environments where workstations are shared by several users. These devices are calibrated according to the user’s build: the heavier the user’s weight, the greater the resistance when leaning against the backrest. The adjustable armrests can be moved forwards and backwards and the soft-touch pad can be rotated inwards and outwards.

Denzel can be customised with a wide range of fabrics and eco-leathers, as well as a choice of 14 different coloured meshes. The self supporting mesh is also specifically designed for office chairs that are subject to many hours of use. With its excellent load-bearing capacity and premium support, the mesh complements Denzel’s comfort features to deliver an outstanding seating experience.

The fixed headrest is designed with a special curvature and inclination to ensure excellent neck support.

In some configurations, the seat is equipped with a depth adjuster that allows it to slide back and forth and always maintain the correct position in relation to the backrest. In the negative tilt version, the seat can be tilted forward by 5 degrees to create a wider angle between the spine and the hips.

Denzel is a certified chair in terms of usability and ergonomics

The seat has been certified by the Institut für Gesundheit und Ergonomie e.V. (IGR e.V.) confirming the usability and ergonomics of the product. The tests performed were based on the specifications of DIN EN ISO 26800:2011 and EN ISO 15537:2022, which attested to the product’s degree of adaptation to the physical characteristics of the test subjects.
