Two uniquely styled lounge areas that transform waiting spaces into welcoming environments where design fosters connection and social interaction.
The lounge area as a business card
At the heart of Frezza’s showroom, lounge areas have evolved from simple waiting areas into dynamic spaces designed to foster socialisation, interaction and moments of focus. In today’s increasingly fluid and collaborative work environment, break areas are also being reimagined, gaining new prominence within the overall design concept.
The focal point of the first lounge area is the Afina modular system, complemented by the elegant coordinated tables from the same collection, designed by Ramos Bassols. This harmonious ensemble defines a space with a bold personality: spacious, well-structured and ideally suited for high-traffic environments such as corporate headquarters, hospitality venues or executive hubs.
In these settings, hospitality transcends aesthetics and functionality and becomes wellness architecture: a design philosophy that enhances the overall user experience.
The versatility of the sofas available in linear, corner, concave and convex modules allows for tailor-made configurations that adapt seamlessly to diverse needs. The result is a highly functional environment: a sophisticated reception area that can effortlessly transform into a haven of comfort or a space for dialogue, conviviality or relaxation.

An intimate oasis for informal meetings
The second lounge area caters to those seeking a cosy atmosphere, perfect for confidential conversations, quick meetings or a restorative break.
Here, the design language remains consistent but adopts a more relaxed tone: the Radar Lounge armchair, Radar two-seater sofa, Afina coffee table and Radar square pouf come together to form a refined and self-contained ecosystem.
The sculptural and enveloping lines of the armchair, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune, strike a balance between comfort and formal elegance, shaping a space that invites to take a break and reflect. Alongside it, the Radar sofa offers a contemporary interpretation of privacy and personal well-being, serving as a discreet and ergonomic retreat.
The composition is completed by a lightweight and easily movable Radar pouf, also available with an integrated USB port: a practical detail that enhances its versatility both as a supporting surface or additional seat, depending on the moment’s needs. This lounge area becomes a dynamic, multifunctional environment, thoughtfully designed to accommodate the varied rhythms of the modern workday.
Functional design where every detail reflects evolution
The two lounge areas in the Frezza showroom offer complementary interpretations of waiting and socialisation. In both, meticulous attention to detail, premium materials and a focus on personal experience are central to the design narrative.
A carefully curated colour palette that balances neutral tones with vibrant accents promotes visual comfort, sparks creativity and encourages social engagement. The soft and inviting shapes of the poufs and sofas suggest a new way of inhabiting space, where design flexibility meets warm sophistication. Minimalist yet refined countertops can discreetly integrate technological features, transforming them into temporary work surfaces when needed.
Set within an exhibition itinerary that flows through operative areas, executive offices and outdoor spaces, Frezza’s lounges embody an evolved design philosophy by creating environments where design becomes a catalyst for connections, well-being and inspiration. The showroom thus emerges as a living, dynamic space one that adapts to contemporary needs and opens up new possibilities for use. A place that invites you to pause, engage and rediscover the true value of shared time.
