Yo Metal, the multifunctional outdoor chair designed by Progetto CMR for Frezza, has recently received the 2025 iF DESIGN AWARD, one of the world’s most important design competitions.

Since 1953, the iF Design organisation has been promoting the value of design by annually awarding the iF DESIGN AWARD, which recognises the best contributions from the global creative community. With nearly 11,000 entries from 66 countries and a jury of 131 international experts, the 2025 edition underscores the increasingly pivotal role of design as a catalyst for innovation and change, aimed at enhancing quality of life.

In its evaluation, the jury focused on criteria such as design excellence, innovative impact and functionality, with a strong emphasis on sustainability. In this context, Yo Metal distinguishes itself by seamlessly blending contemporary style, durable materials and a flexible design approach, tailored to meet the dynamic needs of various outdoor spaces—from bars and restaurants to hotels and offices, promoting the outdoor-indoor living philosophy.
