The rise in the global office furniture market of northern European trends aimed at prioritizing the functionality of spaces, has seen a change in the design of the meeting areas, favouring informal, modular solutions that can be easily reconfigured after use, or even foldable and storable until further needed.
To meet this demand, Frezza has developed the Corner collection of folding and modular tables.
The Corner tables have a fixed depth of 80 cm and are available with tops with lengths of 120, 140, 160 cm accompanied by two trapezoidal solutions (130 – 160 and 140 – 170 cm) that compose tapered end meeting table structures.
One of the plus points of the system is that each table has a top that rotates on the longitudinal axis and, when needed, by using the lockable wheels on which the structure stands, it can be easily transported and stored by forming a horizontal stack.
The structure that supports the top is made of a 4 x 4 cm steel beam to which the 3.5 cm diameter and 2 mm thick tubular legs are connected. The legs end with 7 cm diameter chrome-plated wheels. In the supporting beam, U-shaped bolts control the anti-tilting and folding top system, also acting as a cable passage. The Corner range is, in fact, easy to electrify and can be equipped with a 14 cm modesty panel that can also be folded when the table is being put away for storage.
A wide series of finishes is available, starting with the 25 mm melamine panel tops, always edged in ABS and available in black, white, ice grey and beech finish. The structure can be black, white or chrome-plated.
It is evident how this range of office table solutions offer both the architect and the user an unlimited range of opportunities to make spaces totally and easily reconfigurable.
