FREZZA under the new light of iGuzzini España
Frezza with the Tiper, Link, Areaplan Spazio and Areaplan Kristal Evo collections, is the protagonist of
the new headquarters of iGuzzini España, designed by the architect Josep Mias, in the Parque de Actividades Empresariales Can Sant Joan, Sant Cugat del Vallès, near Barcelona.
The building, called The Sky for its spherical shape by the same designer, has an area of 6,300 square
meters where offices, laboratories, showrooms and auditoriums are spread over four levels.
The workstations, fully signed Frezza, are articulated within this new space, becoming an integral part of the whole project.
The desks of the Tiper collection, thanks to the die-cast aluminium leg structure and work surfaces with soft rounded shapes, seem specially designed for this place which is cult of light.
During the day, the building uses natural light; at night it lights up, transforming itself.
Thus the Areaplan Spazio e Areaplan Kristal Evo partition walls divide the interiors and fit in perfectly with the overall shape, following the trend of the architectural volume, without disrupting its harmony. The white finishes of profiles and lacquered panels emphasize the brightness of the spaces; the transparency of the glass panels let light pass through, preserving the functional characteristics of confidentiality and limitation of the places.
